Background
As may be seen by
the recent riots, without intervention, these times of economic recession and
depression, combined with a decline in traditional values and increased absentee
fathers, invariably lead to an increase in violent and non-violent crime, drug
use, alcohol abuse, teenage pregnancy and a lack of academic achievement,
detrimental in the increasingly competitive market.
Increasingly, children are being physically abused given that the
offending parents often lack the proper tools required to serve as the steward
that they should be; some even vent their frustrations, anger and stress from
other aspects of their lives onto their children.
As you are most probably aware, courts, probation officers, police
and other authorities are rightly attempting to redress this situation by
recommending that parents voluntarily or mandatorily attend recognized parenting
programmes, a strategy historically backed by the present
government.
We professionally cater for this need by offering a range of courses that address most of these issues and a lot more. These range, for example, from day courses, thirteen week courses and also e-programs depending on the situation of our clients or clients of those who we serve
